Shock Manje



  • 4 eggs
  • 220g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g bar of dark chocolate
  • 200 g of butter
  • 1 tablespoon cognac
  • cinnamon to taste


Break 4 eggs, seperate the white from the yolk. Add 200 gr sugar to the white and whisk until it becomes meringue. When the meringue is ready add the egg yolks one by one, then add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Melt one bar of dark chocolate, then add 200 gr butter, 1 tb sp cognac,  cinnamon and leave it to steal. Mix these two masses together, pour in glasses  and place in the fridge. You may spread chopped nuts or grated chocolate on the top.
