I have a confession. I love, love, LOVE garlic. So, when I saw it combined with my other loves (cheese and carbs) I was all on board. This recipe is really simple and takes only about a half an hour. This recipe makes enough food for about 4 hungry people.
- 8 cloves of garlic (yes 8, trust me) minced
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 lb of spaghetti, fettuccine or linguine
- 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
First, in a large skillet, cook garlic in oil until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Be careful here, I look away for a second and they are burnt.
Add in butter, milk and chicken broth to skillet and bring to a boil.
