A delicious sweet pumpkin pie for Halloween

  1. Bake the pumpkin flesh on a baking tray at 180°C until soft
  2. Mash the pumpkin flesh with a potato masher. Let it cool.
  3. Turn the oven up to 220°C
  4. Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Mix in the brown sugar, white sugar, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, ground cloves, cardamom, and lemon zest.
  5. Add pumpkin puree and mix in. Then stir in the cream and mix until creamy.
  6. Pour the mix into the uncooked pie base.
  7. Bake at 220°C for 15 minutes.
Recipe Notes

Allow to cool and serve with cream, vanilla ice cream, custard, or all three!
