Eggy Bread
A yummy snack that uses up eggs and bread – and kids love it
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Beat the eggs with the milk in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix in the mustard (optional).
  2. Put a frying pan on medium heat with olive oil or butter.
  3. Cut the slices of bread into 4 triangles and dip them into the beaten eggs, allowing them to soak up the mixture.
  4. When the oil or butter is sizzling fry the eggy bread, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with anything you like such as salad, avocado pear, dips or less healthy, bacon, black pudding, fries etc. Maple syrup is a favorite in the US and Canada.
Recipe Notes

This is a really fun and simple dish to get the kids involved in the kitchen. Obviously, care should be taken when frying!
