Instructions
- Lightly fry the chopped bacon until cooked
- Line an 8 inch pie tin with foil.
- Roll out one third of the pastry and cut into a circle for the lid.
- Roll out the rest of the pastry and line the pie tin.
- Dampen the edges of the pastry with some of the beaten egg.
- Mix the cheese, Onion, Seasoning and eggs well together.
- Stir in the bacon and tomato.
- Spread the mixture into the pastry case and cover with the lid.
- Seal the pie’s edges together with finger and thumb. Cut a vent into the lid.
- Bake at 375°F gas mark five for 46 to 50 minutes until well risen and brown.
